In 2010, the Bournemouth Hotel and Catering Show will celebrate more than 50 years as the premier exhibition for the catering and hospitality industry by continuing to do what it does best – providing solutions and presenting options that help businesses ‘tempt, tantalise and satisfy’ their clients. The Bournemouth Hotel and Catering Show will be held on Tuesday 16th (10am to 6pm) and Wednesday 17th March 2010 (10am to 4pm) at the Bournemouth International Centre.

The Show has grown significantly since it was first staged in 1956. Its success however is not about sheer size. It is now recognised for its innovative, influential and relevant approach to the catering and hospitality industry.

“The Bournemouth Hotel and Catering Show has a proud history as the place for the regional hospitality industry to source new products, suppliers and ideas. In the current economic climate it is incumbent on us to deliver more solutions and ideas so our visitors find the competitive edge they need to grow their business. As such, anyone with an interest in the hospitality industry should mark it on their 2010 calendar as an event not to be missed,” said Show organiser Anna Wallis.

The Show will create a meeting place for buyers and sellers and offer them the opportunity to taste the latest products, try new equipment, discover solutions and trends as well as compare suppliers. Exhibitors include Unilever UK, UK Coffee, The Menu Shop, Purbeck Ice Cream, Comax UK, Southern Foodservice, New Forest Ice Cream, Wedderburn Epos Systems and Extracair Installations.

Show features will include the Cookery Theatre, sponsored by Unilever Foodsolutions and Bournemouth & Poole College, where a host of leading and local chefs will provide exciting demonstrations using locally sourced produce.

Also staged during the two days will be the UK’s best known and most respected chefs’ competition, the Wessex Salon Culinaire in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs and WorldSkills UK and sponsored by Nestle Professional CHEF and Coastline Produce.

The Wessex Salon Culinaire is UK's largest young chefs and waiting competition and attracts more than 300 entrants and this year for the first time will include the WorldSkills UK Cooking, Confectionery and Restaurant Services competitions. WorldSkills UK is a set of over 70 dynamic skills competitions held nationally and regionally. Outstanding competitors may have the opportunity to be a part of the team that competes at the international skills competition WorldSkill London 2011, which is brought to you by UK Skills, a not-for-profit organisation which champions skills and learning for work through competitions and awards.

This is a wonderfully entertaining and light-hearted evening of wit suitable for all of those with at least a modicum of a sense of humour. Theatre 2000 present the amateur UK premier of

Eurobeat, the glorious celebration of everything Eurovision, heralds the dawn of the interactive musical as the audience vote for their favourite song.

Eurobeat offers everyone the chance to leap out of the closet and give the UK a genuine opportunity to win Europe's greatest cultural collaboration once more! Terry Wogan will be there in spirit every night – with bells on!

We are in Sarajevo, who have somehow won the rights to host this year's competition. Each audience member will be assigned to one of the ten competing countries as they enter the venue. Don't forget – you can’t vote for your own country although there is nothing to stop you bribing others!

Smashing all Broadway box office records on its opening in 1943, this was the first collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein - the legendary team who went on to create Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. Set on America’s Western Frontier, Oklahoma! perfectly integrates song, dance and story to tell the tale of farm girl Laurey and the two rivals for her affections, happy go-lucky cowboy Curly and the sinister farm hand Jud.

From its opening number Oh What a Beautiful Mornin' to its final rousing chorus of Oklahoma, the score is packed with all-time classic songs including The Surrey with The Fringe on Top, People Will Say We're in Love, Many a New Day and I Cain't Say No. Saddle up and prepare to enjoy once again one of the most famous love stories in musical theatre history.

The works of Shakespeare have inspired more operatic adaptations than any other writer’s. Simon Keenlyside and Natalie Dessay bring their extraordinary acting and singing skills to two of the Bard’s most unforgettable characters in this new production of Ambroise Thomas’s Hamlet. For the role of Ophelia, the French composer created an extended mad scene that is among the greatest in opera.

This is the story of Gilbert & Sullivan as seen through the eyes of George Grossmith, the actor who created the comic roles in the Savoy Operas. Following last year's sell-out tour and sensational performances on 'The Royal Variety Performance', 'Live At The Apollo', and 'Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow', the Welsh Wonder is back on the road with a brand new show. Last year, he punched a shop-assistant over the duvet tog-rating system and went berserk over a mince pie. Stung by accusations that he over-reacts, this year Rhod sets out on an emotional rollercoaster of a journey to discover the truth. Is he, as he believes, a visionary in a sea of closed minds, or has he, as everyone else believes, got anger-management problems?

Following the success of The Soldiers debut album “Coming Home” which has phenomenally dominated the charts, the three serving soldiers are now ready to announce their 24 date national tour which will kick off on the 16th March 2010.

The Soldiers will release their much anticipated Christmas single “A Soldiers Christmas Letter” on the 9th of December and will give the public a taster of what they have in store at both the Children of Courage Awards as well as at the Royal Variety Performance.

The support from the public has been overwhelming…there is even a Facebook page which receives over 5000 hits per day. This level of encouragement and The Soldiers talent seems to be a winning combination for another top ten hit.

25 pence of each sale of ‘A Soldiers Christmas Letter’ (the single) is being donated to the Army Benevolent Fund (registered charity nos 211645 and SC039189). Donations from the sale of every album and the track ‘Coming Home’ are also being donated to support three charities, Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion.

Informal and friendly events for anyone who enjoys dancing or listening to live music, from waltzes and tango to jive and jazz. A great way to meet new people, keep fit and have fun!
