Borough of Poole, Transportation Services are offering £75 towards the cost of Pass Plus in Poole.
The scheme is called Pass Plus Poole and is open to applicants who travel by car in Poole, Bournemouth or Dorset.
But hurry - there are only 160 places available each year! And you must have your application approved before you start your course .
There are many benefits including reducing the risk of being involved in a crash and saving you money on car insurance.
Pass Plus is a scheme backed by the Government's Driving Standards Agency and Insurers to encourage newly qualified drivers to become better drivers.
Pass Plus gives extra experience and positive driving skills that would otherwise take a long time to acquire.
Pass Plus Poole is a course made up of six hours (minimum) in total, specially designed to follow on from a successful practical driving test. The course includes driving:
The Borough of Poole, in partnership with the Driving Standards Agency, are offering the first 160 applicants each year £75.00 towards the cost of Pass Plus Poole. The initial outlay cost of Pass Plus will be discussed with your instructor.
You can take part in Pass Plus Poole - within your first year of passing your driving test - if you travel by car in Poole, Bournemouth or Dorset and you are aged between 17 and 24 years when you pass your test.

AS soon as we have received your completed application form, we will notify your nominated Approved Driving Instructor who will then contact you to book you onto the course. Your details will be kept for statistical purposes only and passed to the instructor. Participating Approved Driving Instructors must be DSA approved Pass Plus instructors and registered with Borough of Poole.
